Silver Queen Blitz

The annual Silver Queen Blitz tournament will take place on Wednesday September 24th at Preston ( New Meadow Street Labour Club ). It is open to members of any club in the Blackpool and Fylde League (including Preston). Each player will get to play about 5 games of chess, with about 10 minutes on the clock each (probably 8 minutes+2 seconds per move). The games will be sent for ECF Blitz rating. We will take entries at 7.30pm and start about 7:45pm. You can enter on the night, but it would be helpful if you could inform Carl Tillotson in advance to save time.
